Our Present Spiritual Head

HIS HOLINESS MAHANT BABA RAM SINGH JI MAHARAJ

‘Spiritual Head’ as the name implies, is the title bestowed upon a person who is spiritually enlightened, is free from all sorts of vices, desires, passions and hatred. HE is a person who enlightens the hearts of people and guides them in seeking Guru’s blessings.

With the grace of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji & Brahamgiani Srimaan Sant Baba Nikka Singh Ji Maharaj ‘Virakat’, Mahant Ram Singh Ji has been graced with the duties of ‘Spiritual Head’ of Nirmal Ashram since November 10, 1982. After the erstwhile Spiritual Head of the ashram, Mahant Narain Singh Ji left for his heavenly abode on 25th Oct.1982, on the Seventeenth Day the ceremony of Rasam Pagri, (the traditional way of handing over the responsibilities of the Spiritual Head) was performed at Nirmal Ashram in the presence of Saints of Nirmal Sect, Sadhus and many devotees.

Rightly so, Srimaan Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj is a jewel in the crown of the ‘Nirmal Panth’. Adhering to the philosophy, i.e. Sewa, Simran, Satsang, Maharaj Ji has been the ‘LIGHT HOUSE’ not only for the devotees of Nirmal Sampardai but also for humanity in general.

Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj, a disciple of Brahamgiani Sant Nikka Singh Ji Maharaj ‘Virakat’, being in the constant vicinity of his Guru blossomed spiritually from his childhood and with HIS dedicated selfless service & humility, has attained the height of divinity.

While concentrating upon HIS prime duty, Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji travels extensively in India and abroad to spread knowledge about GOD & ABSOLUTE TRUTH, thereby rendering selfless service to free the mankind from the shackles of worldly pomp. HE says “ One should dedicate his self to the service of THE ALMIGHTY through humility, meditation and by helping the downtrodden.”

Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj has been a divine source of inspiration in accomplishing the motto of Nirmal Ashram, i.e. Love All Serve All.

Health, Education and Vision for All are HIS fields of prime concern. In this context, HE has pioneered the establishment of charitable hospitals, schools, eye institute, vocational training centers, elder’s home and orphanage in Rishikesh and Karnal.

As a person, His Holiness Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj leads a life of a true Saint (Messenger of GOD). He depends upon the worldly comfort of simple food and shelter only for survival. HE  is always engrossed in the bliss of the soul and the glory of God.
