Yoga Competition

“You cannot always control what goes on outside, but you can always control what goes on inside” During this pandemic time when everyone wants to be safe, Yoga may possibly be an effective adjunctive means in this narrative. Regular practice of Yoga has shown effective results. Different Aasans boost our immunity, the body strength, increase energy level, bring down anxiety and stress and infuse positivity and freshness in the mind. To make the students aware about their health, our school had organised an online Yoga competition for the students of Classes V and VI. The aim of this competition was to develop an understanding and motivate the children to apply the understanding of these practices in one’s life and living. It would also help them to gain healthy habits and lifestyle. Total 31 students of Classes V and VI participated in it. They recorded their video clips of 5 best advanced Asanas in which they could hold themselves properly for 10 seconds and share it with their Yoga teacher. All the students participated with great zeal and worked wonders.
